We have detected users sending messages up to 1 megabyte. We think Pookmail.com is not a repository for images or music (in multiple zipped files).
May be we are wrong and most of you think this service is useful for share music, images and videos with your friends sending one mail and giving the pookmail account to your pals.
At this time, the one mega limit is hard to sustain. We have limited the message size to 256 kb and the maximum mails per account and day to hundred.

Hmmm. I have review the logs and sure: we are experiencing problems. You are right.
The Load average from the front mail server was 20. At a value of 12, sendmail start rejecting new connections.
A lot of incoming bounce mails from Brazil and Argentina are collapsing the system. Spammers have the "great" idea of fake the origin email address when spamming their victims. And their victims bounces the million error notification messages to us.
The fake origin address are: xxxxxx@pookmail.com. But this 'x' are random.
We are working in a solution that let us block this bounces without affecting normal user operation.
I have restarted all the daemons and in 1 hour we restart normal operation.
I also want to propose Alex (the administrator of the web) to make a script that inform, at the homepage, of the average time of deliver and if we are at normal operation.
