Ads in PookMail
Since last Friday we have put AdSense in PookMail in order to help us to mantain the service online.
From 3 years we tried to avoid using Ads to monetize PookMail but unfortunately things haven't gone very well for us.

Don't worry about that. You guys have put a lot of effort into this and it's only fair that you try to recoup some of your expenses and reduce the money you are probably losing now.
I won't be leaving the service any time soon, it continues to be an excellent resource.

Wow, I didn't even notice the Ad untill I read this. Totally doesnt matter. Man, how long ago were the secondary languages added? I still remember adding the japanese ones! ^-^

As far as I remember it was added one year and an half ago.
Concerning the AdSenses I'm not trying to motivate people to do that. May be it sounds like it, but anyway I'm going to remove it!

I wouldn't worry about the Google Ads, they are not intrusive in the least, and might even help someone find more software to do with email matters.

Hi, Added a new value add to my blog this weekend - a news widget from www.widgetmate.com. I always wanted to show latest news for my keywords in my sidebar. It was very easy with this widget. Just a small copy paste and it was done. Great indeed.
I really love pookmail, adsense is no big deal. You guys are amazing, keep it up.
I think a lot of people know that clicking on an adsense ad is a good and easy way to pay back the 'free' site. I always do just as a way to say thanks - of course not multiple times per visit!

Can you include the whole mail in the RSS feeds? You can use text ads to keep your advertising.
You can also have an option for shorter storage time on the server as people have already gotten the contents.
I'm having trouble using Pookmail anymore. Since the past week, I get an "error connecting to site".
PS For a long time visiting "pookmail.com" would give a DNS error. It still does. Visiting "www.pookmail.com" would work without a DNS error, but recently gives a connection error (DNS works).
What's wrong with PookMail.com?
Safari can’t open the page “http://www.pookmail.com/” because it could not connect to the server “www.pookmail.com”.
I hope that Adsense could cover yout expenses.

Guys, apologies for the troubles you experienced but we had to changed our front server due to problems with the mainboard.
Since last wednesday PookMail is up and running again.

Pookmail is not receiving any mail, try "jsmith" or "porn" accounts, that usaully is full of mails, have none, and the "accounts" that I usually use neither, I send me a mail and nothing.

You're right! "porn" and "jsmith" are empty.
We will proceed to check what is wrong.
Concerning the Safari problems reported, it must works now.
